About Me

My name is Mainiti, also known as Mimi.  I am a mom to three doggies, turtle and my sister at times when needed.  I am 33 years of age, Hawaii native but currently living in St. Louis, Missouri.  I always had a passion for fashion however growing up as a thicker female for practically all my life, I found myself feeling discouraged knowing that I did not fit the “ideal model” type.  I had the height but never the weight that majority of the agencies, photographers, etc were looking for.  So, I ended up talking myself out of one of my dreams that I had since I was a little girl.

I changed my direction in life and went to college for accounting and nursing in 1998 at University of Nevada Las Vegas, finished with a Bachelor’s at the University of Missouri – St. Louis and obtained my MBA from Webster University.  I was blessed with a fabulous government job as well as a part time job preparing taxes.  In my other spare time, when I am not hanging with friends, chilling with dogs, shopping, soaking up the sun, or “trying” to be lazy, I love volunteering at the Red Cross and various homeless shelters around town.

Starting in December 2011, I found my passion once again but with more confidence than ever before.   It’s amazing how being around and talking with just a few new fabulous people can truly bring out what was hiding for so many years.  I have learned to embrace and love my curves that God has blessed me with.  I love my curves because it’s beautiful and paired with some fierce clothing/jewelry is oh so fabulous!!!
