So last month, I participated in this fabulous event put on by House of Style. Looking at it from my eyes: House of Style is a group of people that go to several places throughout the US and provides a platform for photographers, models, hair stylists, wardrobe stylist, and make up artists. During these sessions, there are anywhere from 10-20 models, about 10 photographers, 2-3 makeup artists, 2-3 hair stylists, etc. You come to the location picked starting at around 10:00 am and you start getting your makeup and hair done if desired. What is amazing about this event is that all you are asked to do is tip your makeup and hair stylist about $5-10 for each look that you receive (That's amazing). You basically go and shoot all up and down the designated area.. You have great opportunities for great photos, different looks, but best of all NETWORKING. The event last until 7:00 pm so you can shoot for as long as you can hold out :) PPPSSTTT Modeling is hard work :)
Within 30 days, each photographer that you shoot with is required to send you about 4-5 edited photos.. You pay a certain amount (Like I paid $50) and I was able to work with 5 photographers.. Not only will I will great photos for a good price but I got to practice and network with others in this beautiful world of Fashion :)
